Dr. Thejas Uthran, a highly skilled physician working as a General Physician in the Department of General Medicine at Rayhan Gulf Medical Center , Abu Shagara, Sharjah. He completed his MD Physician from Kuban Medical Academy, and later obtained his Fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus - Accredited by Royal Liverpool Academy, UK.
He has a special interest in diabetology and did his Diabetes management course from Harvard Medical School, USA , Royal College of Physicians (UK) & Gulf Diabetes Masterclass from Dresden University, Germany.
With more than a decade of experience in different healthcare settings in India (both in private & government set ups) and the UAE, Dr. Thejas has well-versed in the treatment & management of infectious diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, respiratory diseases & lifestyle diseases like diabetes, hypertension etc. He treats adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions in out patient settings.
He has ably managed and independently handled various complicated cases in the Intensive Coronary Care Unit, Medical Intensive Care unit and, Emergency department during his services in India & maintained excellent relations with colleagues and patients. Treated many covid patients during the Covid crisis and pandemic.
